I have never filled one of these out before (I usually skip the "About Me" section of profiles) and I have been staring blankly at this page for over an hour. A friend just made the suggestion that I list some "date night" activities ... OK, I can do that.
Ideas for fun date activities:
- going to the museum of science and industry and playing with all the doodads
- taking a trip to the local Fry's and checking out the latest tech
- meeting up with friends in WOW and going on a raid
- a Minecraft LAN party
- actual old school D & D (yeah with 20 sided dice and everything!)
- a weekend trip to Vegas to attend the Consumer Electronics Show
non-techie date ideas:
- day trip to the coast, long walk on the beach, sunset, dinner ...
- picnic at the river
- early morning fishing
- day hiking in the gorge
- coffee and conversation at a local park
- afternoon bike ride
- dinner at a fancy restaurant followed by a meandering walk through down town
- cold beer/wine and a "Big Bang Theory" marathon
- a one night cooking class and/or wine tasting
- double feature at the drive-in
- late night stargazing
OK, so I'm a geek, and an outdoors guy, and a bit of a romantic.
Maybe these things sound interesting to you also?
Maybe you should send me a message with some of your ideas?
Maybe we could meet for drinks or coffee and compare lists and ideas?
Maybe this won't be so bad after all!
