I'm 36 years old, working an IT helpdesk job. I have my A+ certification and I'm studying for the Network plus. I want to move up to a position as a Systems admin or Network engineer, with a long term goal of some type of IT security job.
Single, never married, no kids.
Outside of PC gaming, I also like DnD. I've DMed a 3rd edition campaign and taken part in a few 5th edition ones. I'd like to try Pathfinder 2.
I don't read as much as I used to anymore because I don't have a lot of time, but my favorite book is probably Lisey's Story by Stephen King. You really wouldn't think a horror romance novel could be a thing, but that's sort of what it is and he pulls it off. I feel like it's as good as it is because it's kind of an allegory for his substance abuse and how it effected his marriage, but I may just be reading too much into it.
My favorite video game is Final Fantasy VI (Or 3 in the US). I really like the overall themes, and I think the opera house scene and it's parallels to the deserted island scene later are some of the deepest video game writing ever produced.
I'm pretty shy and introverted. My ideal way of meeting someone would be to hop into Discord or teamspeak and play some games and see where it goes from there.
