Hello. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of all the shallow jerks on other dating websites who won't even give you a chance unless you're a GQ model with a six figure salary. I'm here because I want to meet a fun and friendly person who is real.

I have been a gamer ever since I was old enough to pick up a NES controller back in the good old days of Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt. I still enjoy retro games, but I have a love for adventure games, action/adventure platformers. Smash Bros and Mario Kart are always great fun, although Mario Party has been known to ruin friendships.

I'm a shy and average guy looking for friends and something more. While I'm not looking to someone to marry or have children with, I can say that I'm friendly, honest, and loyal. I'm a total geek who enjoys video gaming, reading, writing, TV and movies in my spare time.

I value honesty, intelligence, compassion, open-mindedness, and inclusiveness. You'll find that I'm probably one of the least shallow and superficial people out there.

I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs. None of that stuff interests me and I don't make any apologies for who I am. I'd rather not date someone who is into those things (light to moderate casual drinking is fine, though). "420" profiles will be ignored.

The qualities I look for in a match is someone who is friendly, intelligent, open-minded, compassionate, has a sense of humor, and shares some of my interests. My match accepts me for me, not who they want me to be. I would ideally want to date someone who is between 24-55 years of age, but I might be willing to date an extremely mature 20-23 year old.

My "6 Nos" - No smokers, no kids, no drugs, no drama, no superficial people, and no conservatives.

Long distance doesn't work for me, so I'd only want to date someone else who lives in the Durham area.
